Raymond E. Rowe, 74, died Sunday, October 21 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Flint, Indiana, he was a warehouseman for Monarch Food Service Company for 16 years and retired in 1987. He was a U.S. Marine Corp WWII Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 241, and to Avalon Missionary Church. He is preceded in death by son Raymond R. Rowe, a daughter Renee Christine Carpenter, 1 brother, and one sister.
He is survived by wife Bonnie B. Rowe, Fort Wayne; son David L. Rowe, Fort Wayne; daughters Luan K. Prater, Roann, Indiana; Robin R. Hughes, Fort Wayne; Raylene Susan Engrissei, South Bend; brothers Willis Rowe, Garrett, Indiana; Jim Rowe, Fort Wayne; a sister Wilma Osmulski, Southgate, Michigan; and 16 Grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, October 24 at Avalon Missionary Church.
