Philip Joseph Buescher, 75, died Sunday, December 2 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Fort Wayne, he was an auditor for Indiana State Department of Revenue for 25 years and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoyed writing poetry, working on family genealogy, and was a Civil War buff. He was preceded in death by son Daniel Buescher; sisters Delores Buescher, Angeline Camp; SR. Richilda (Alice); SR. Mildred; SR. Justine (Helen); and SR. Elizabeth (Ruth).
He is survived by his wife Mary H. Buescher, Fort Wayne; daughter Kathryn Myers, Austin, Texas; sons Anthony M. Buescher, New Orleans. Louisiana; Gregory P. Buescher, Fort Wayne; Thomas M. Buescher, Greenfield, Indiana; Joseph A. Buescher, Fort Wayne; sister SR. Bernice Buescher, Donaldson, Indiana; brothers Charles Buescher, Clearwater, Florida; Raymond Buescher, Fort Wayne; Leo Buescher, Decatur, Indiana; and 1 Grandson.
Services were held Thursday, December 6, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Masses.
