Kenneth E. Meek, 71, died Wednesday, January 2 at his Fort Wayne Residence. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a farmer all of his life and retired from Navistar as an inspector in 1983. He was a member of Ossian F & AM #297, Scottish Rite, American Legion #241, 40 & 8, #37, and AMVets #33. He was a Korean Air Force Veteran. Kenny’s love for life expanded into many different interests, loving his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Ann Meek, Fort Wayne; sons Kim Meek, Fort Wayne and Rick Meek, Fort Wayne. Preceded in death by a son, Kerry Meek.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, Waynedale. Masonic services will be held on Friday at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 1:30pm at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, Waynedale with burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian, IN. Graveside military services by American Legion Post #241. Memorials to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or donor’s choice.
