A SCOUTMASTER’S MINUTE FROM JIM FOX
(Mr. Fox recently retired his Scoutmaster patch and donned a Committee Member patch)
“I wish to thank everyone for allowing me to be part of your sons’ scouting careers. These past 7 years have been quite enjoyable for me in many ways. I have enjoyed the adventures and the camaraderie with the boys and with the adult leadership. I wish to extend a special “THANKS” to all of the Assistants that helped me out these past 7 years. With their help, we made Troop 38 a well-known troop, not only in the Miami District, but also in the Anthony Wayne Area Council. Once again “THANKS” for the memories. Thanks to all.
Jim Fox, MC Troop 38
JERRY LLOYD APPOINTED TROOP 38 SCOUTMASTER
Congratulations to Jerry Lloyd for his new position as Scoutmaster, succeeding the ‘retiring’ Mr. Fox. Mr. Lloyd has been a member of Troop 38 since 1997. “I’m glad to be the new Scoutmaster of Troop 38. I see no immediate big changes and things will run about the same as they have. Spring is here and things are going to get busy. We have a canoe trip and the Spring Camporee back to back in April and May, but I know all of you are up to the challenge. So, let’s dig in, keep working on advancements, and have FUN.
