The 9th Annual LeighAnn Palmer Foundation Golf Outing is scheduled for September 7, 2003. This year, as in previous years, the golf proceeds go to a scholarship fund in remembrance of LeighAnn Palmer. One scholarship is presented to a Bishop Luers Senior cheerleader going to college and one scholarship to an 8th grade girl at St. Therese going to Bishop Luers High School. Mo Korte was the recipient for the Bishop Luers scholarship and Sarah Freiburger was the St. Therese scholarship winner for 2002. In addition to awarding the scholarships proceeds also go to various charitable organizations that benefit children.

The golf outing will be a double shotgun Florida scramble at Fairview Golf Course on Saturday, September 7th (rain date, September 10, 2003). New this year is a skins game. Lowest only team score on any hole wins skins. If you are interested in golfing, donating a door prize or if you or your company are interested in being a hole sponsor (minimum $100), please contact Mike Gigli at 672-2473 or Mike Palmer at 747-6918 for more details.
