WAYNE C. RELUE, 87, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Oakwood Village, Springfield, Ohio. Born March 19, 1916, in Fort Wayne, he retired from Falstaff Brewing Co. after 41 years of service. He enjoyed golf, fishing and all sports and was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football & Indiana Basketball.
Survivors include daughter, Judy (Cliff) Henry of Springfield; sister, Lena Felger of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Mike Henry, Randy Henry, Lindsey Pequignot, Heather Relue and Adam Relue; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Corey and Brad Henry and Madylene Pequignot.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude; son, Frank Relue and daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Relue.
Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road. Calling one hour prior to Mass and also from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday March 9th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial was at Catholic Cemetery.
Preferred memorial is the American Cancer Society.
