FORT WAYNE, In —The University of Saint Francis will honor veterans, military personnel and their families with free admission to the home football game on Saturday.
A tailgating contest will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the kick-off at noon. To participate, contestants should wear black attire. Food, spirit and games will be part of the fun.
Prize packages will be given away throughout the day. The university welcomes the Fort Wayne community to attend and recognize veterans and active military members for their services as the Saint Francis Cougars take on the Marian University Knights.
The University of Saint Francis, founded in 1890 as a comprehensive university in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate programs through the School of Health Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership, School of Professional Studies and School of Creative Arts. The university’s College of Adult Learning designs focused curriculum for working adults by offering online and accelerated programs, through its Virtual, Fort Wayne and Crown Point campuses.
