Bishop Luers High School is pleased to announce senior, Geoffrey Justice, will be signing with Indiana Tech and senior, Nick Strack, will be signing with Oakland University.

On Tuesday, March 18th, members of 100+ Women Who Care visited SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) to present a $12,000 check in support of SCAN's mission to eliminate child abuse and neglect. The gift will be used to upgrade worn furniture in a family visitation room to ensure the safety of children during visits. The South Side Catholic Singers recently wrapped up their first middle school show choir season. This was their first year of competition. The students in the South Side Catholic Singers are made up of 5th through 8th grade students from St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School, St. John the Baptist School, St. John New Haven School, Most Precious Blood School, St. Joseph Hessen Cassel School and Huntington Catholic School.

Kingston Residence sponsored their 6th Annual Taste of Waynedale on Tuesday, March 18th in a new location. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church on Reservation Drive proved to be the perfect setting for over 600 people to enjoy a variety of foods from 25 restaurants and businesses. Howard and Nancy Harz will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a gathering of family and friends at their son's home.

Howard and Nancy were married on March 28, 1964 at Westfield Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Nancy retired from Sandpoint Greenhouse and Howard retired from LH Industries.

They have 2 sons, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
