Wayne Coverdale, 11431 Hamilton Road was awarded 1st place in the Semi-Tank Class at the 2003 Indiana Truck Driving Championships held on June 14, 2003, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds by the Indiana Motor Truck Association. Mr. Coverdale competed against 106 participants for top state honors and will represent the state of Indiana on August 19-23, at the National Truck Driving Competition in Columbus, Ohio. Our annual picnic is right around the corner. This event will be held at VFW Post 1421, 7712 Buffton Road on Saturday, August 2, 2003 from 11am until ????. Attorney General issues consumer alert to victims of recent flooding and other storm damage.

 

Victims of this week's storm devastation in Central and Northern Indiana need to be cautious of people who may pose as legitimate repair contractors only to disappear with your money. Craig Nyborg, from Wayne High School was one of two recipients for The Blanket Award. To receive The Blanket Award an athlete must letter at least 8 times. Craig has lettered in football, tennis, basketball and baseball.
