KOREAN WAR VETERANS ASSOCIATION INDIANA CHAPTER #ONE
The monthly meeting of the Korean War Veterans Assn., Indiana Chapter One will be held on February 8th at the American Legion Post 82 on Harris Road. Meeting begins at 9am with breakfast and social hour beginning at 7am. Members are asked to bring Valentines to this meeting to be distributed to local Veterans.

FOX ISLAND IN THE WINTER

Details Cross-Country Skiing was open while the snow lasted.  Tom Lochner, Cross-Country Ski Supervisor, advises to call ahead for current ski conditions.

With the recent snowfall of over 8 inches, many skiers experienced the miles of beautiful wooded trails this past weekend as the Fox Island Trails on Yohne Road were open for cross-country skiing.

Allen County Parks need at least 4 inches of snow to operate their Cross-Country Ski Program. Cross-Country Skis and Boots are available for rent in sizes ranging from child to adult. Details This bluejay was spotted on a wooded trail at Fox Island, it is one of the vulnerable species affected by the West Nile virus.
