Newaygo, Michigan lies just about four hours north of Waynedale. You can get there by going north on 69 to Marshal, then west to Kalamazoo, north to Howard City and then west again to Newaygo. The Muskegon River flows through Newaygo. It begins at Houghton Lake, and flows southwest through a number of small towns before emptying into Lake Michigan, at Muskegon.

On November 11th (Veterans' Day) at 11am, the Veterans Organizations of northern Indiana will hold a memorial service for the active military personal that were murdered while serving in D. Former Waynedale residents Dale and Marclyn Hilbert of Howe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Florida vacation and Caribbean cruise, culminating in a family celebration. He was a District Sales Manager with Morton Salt Company before retiring in 1986 after 38 years. She is a homemaker.

In 1999 Randy Bartz, a resident of Columbia City, Indiana, was visiting his longtime friend, Shane Decker. Shane is a singer-songwriter who lives in Nashville. In May St. Therese students received plant and vegetable seeds. They were to plant them and care for them over the summer and in the fall bring them back to school.
