Disorderly Bear presentation

The Disorderly Bear Den will hold their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., at the Community Center, 233 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana (park free in the back of the building).

Stan Freet Honor Flight fundraiser

Stan Freet served in the Army as part of the 3rd Division during WWII. He toured in Italy, Germany, France, Austria and North Africa. He returned to eventually marry the love of his life, Dorothy, and entered into a career working with brass instruments.

A Fish Fry will be held in Fort Wayne on Friday, January 23rd, starting at 4:30 p.m. Fort Wayne Sport Club, located at 3102 Ardmore Ave in Fort Wayne, will host the event.

Come join in on the fun and enjoy the first fish dinner of 2015. This January Fish Fry will once again continue the German dining tradition at Fort Wayne Sport Club. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 10. Children age 6-and-under eat for free.

Helen "Eileen" Stitzer, a resident of Kingston Residence of Fort Wayne, 7515 Winchester Road, turned 100 on Sunday, January 4th with a big smile and a couple of dollars waving in her hand. As with any question you have about anything these days, you can do an internet search and get an overwhelming amount of information. Lions Elks Donation

In 2011, the Waynedale Lions Club and the Fort Wayne Order of Elks combined their resources and their efforts to give just over 300 pounds of donated food to the Associated Churches of Fort Wayne & Allen County for their Neighborhood Food Network, a network of 28 local pantries that provide a five-day supply of food.

FWTC speaker

The Fort Wayne Track Club is pleased to announce that the keynote speaker for their 2014 annual banquet will be Lauren Fleshman, elite runner and Oiselle representative.

The event on January 25, at Hotel Fort Wayne will include a pre-event Women's Health Clinic for women and, social time for the guys starting at 3:30pm. Dinner, awards and speaker will start at 5:30pm. Cost for the event is just $25, $20 for Fort Wayne Track Club members. Register by December 31 to save $5.
