ANNUAL BUST A MOVE

For the 6th year, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana and the Fort Wayne Derby Girls are partnering to host Bust a Move, an auction to raise money for women with breast cancer in our community. The event will be held at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Friday, October 4, 2013, beginning at 6PM. BORROEL & REED ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT

Details Borreal Reed Engagement

Ray Borroel Jr. and Alexandrea Reed, both of Fort Wayne, announce their engagement.

Ms. Reed is the daughter of Sue Reed of Waynedale and Rusty and Marilyn Reed of Churubusco. She will be finishing her degree of Nursing from Indiana University, Purdue University, Fort Wayne in December.

Mr. Borroel is the son of Raymond Borroel Sr. and Marilyn and Hans Perdaems, both of Waynedale. He will be graduating in the next year with a degree in criminal justice, from Ivy Tech.

Congratulations to Jim and Toot (Mildred Moser) Hall who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Both Jim and Toot were raised in DeFiance, Ohio. Jim graduated from Defiance High and Toot from Ayresville High. They were married on August 22, 1953 in Defiance, Ohio at St. John's Catholic Church. They continue to celebrate their Catholic faith at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and were previous members of St. Therese Catholic Church in Waynedale.

WILDCAT FESTIVAL BEGINS FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD

Come and join in the fun at the Markle Wildcat Festival August 23, 24, and 25th in Markle, Indiana. Friday, August 23rd there will be a pork chop dinner and dance at the Markle Fire Station.
