Jeff, Alan & Clem Dreyfus signed the paperwork, Friday, July 14, 2006. They are now officially the new owners of Village Bowl in Quimby Village.

Jeff has made Village Bowl a family owned and operated business. His father, Clem and his brother Alan will both work with him on this new venture. Walter and Dorothy Langley

Walter J. Langley Sr. and Dorothy (Bartle) Langley of Fort Wayne will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house, to be held Sunday, August 20th, 2006 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the home of Barb and Tom Fischer.

They were high school sweethearts, graduating from Leo High School in the class of 1939 where Dorothy was co-salutatorian. They were married August 17, 1941 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.

The University of Saint Francis sports information department received 10 national publication awards recently at the annual workshops for two national sports information organizations.

Bill Scott, USF Sports Information Director, was awarded four national Top 5 CoSIDA certificates, and six Top 10 NAIA-SIDA certificates at the annual NAIA-SIDA/CoSIDA Workshop in Nashville.

Danielle Landon, daughter of Michael (Tony) and Patty Landon, received an all-star recognition at a Universal Dance Association (UDA) Camp, that took place at Taylor University, in June. The camp teaches the girls dance routines, technique, choreography, and teamwork. Due to her outstanding performance, Danielle has been offered a choice of performing in London, Paris, or Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

It was On Track Ministries/WBCL Church Group Night at Baer Field Speedway and Jonathan had about 300 extra people cheering for him this week. The ProSystems/WBCL team were able to turn a rough start into another great finish in the Half-Mile Modifieds at Baer Field Speedway one Saturday night.
