Edward McDougal, who had directed a number of movies in the past, has come to Taylor Fort Wayne to teach a course on script writing. Classes so far have been tough, and students are coping with large amounts of homework, including a project to finish a 100-page screenplay by the end of the course. While all the work is trying, Professor McDougal is confident that it will help his students write a better screenplay.

All of that wrestling around the house when one is young really does pay off. At least it does if you're Harry McGinnis, head wrestling coach at Triton College. Just this past year, Coach McGinnis took eight wrestling qualifiers to the National Tournament in Rochester, Minnesota. Four of them were named All-American and his Triton Trojan wrestling team placed third place in the Division III team scoring and 10th place overall.

Pat Fager, Charles' daughter-in-law and her husband Cordill will be presenting this display to the National Veterans Shrine at 2122 O'Day Road, in Fort Wayne, at the opening of the museum in May.

Leo Murphy was born on Lake Avenue on August 25, 1921 across from the old Catholic cemetery. His grandfather had owned much of that area in earlier years, and his Great Grandfather had emigrated here from Hamburg Germany. She will be honored for her 87th birthday with a rose on the altar. The Lutheran preschools of Fort Wayne came together Wednesday, March 8 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Waynedale to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week.
