Details Learning the rules and skills of soccer is 7 year old Soccer League Player Angelique Wilson,  and Tiny Tot Indoor League Player Daniel Wilson, 5 years old with Program Director, Neil Condon.

The 15.7-mile route for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Torch Relay has been finalized. Eighty torchbearers from Northeast Indiana will carry the Olympic flame through each of the city's four quadrants on Thursday, January 3, 2002.

50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Chester and Crystal Gwozdz recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party for friends and family.

The couple have three sons, Sam of Atlanta, Georgia and David and Kevin of Fort Wayne.

Chester is a World War II Veteran and is a retired Pillsbury Corporation employee with 30 years service. Crystal is a homemaker.

HIDEAWAY DONATES FUNDS

Fort Wayne Fire Department was the recipient of a check for $1300.00. Marty Jasper, manager of the Hideaway, located at 6807 Elzey, explained that the donations had been collected from local merchants and patrons during a Dec. 7th 'Pearl Harbor Day Party'. Marty presented the check to Brad Springer, Station Captain with the proceeds to be distributed to the Firefighters of Station #5.
