The Northern Indiana Golf Show will take place Saturday and Sunday March 9 and 10 at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.
Saturday features representatives from top golf manufacturers with demos of their new products for the 2013 golf season. Golfers will enjoy testing the new drives and irons from Cleveland, Srixon, Mizuno, Callaway and Nike Golf on the Northern Indiana Golf Show indoor demo range.
The Northern Indiana Golf Show main stage, sponsored by Back Nine Driving Range, will feature presentations from the area's top golf professionals including Rick Hemsoth, Director of Golf for Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation, and noted ladies instructor Suzanne Noblett. Area professionals will also be available for free three-minute lessons.
This year's show will feature three skills contests. Golfers will compete for value price packages in the Cobblestone Golf Longest and Straightest Drive Contest. Golf ECT of Fort Wayne will have a closest-to-the-pin contest. Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will again be holding a longest-putt competition benefiting the Fort Wayne Youth Golf program.
The Northern Indiana Golf Show has also partnered with the Hotel Fitness Championship so each day's the first 100 attendees will receive a one-day Practice Round Ticket for the 2013 Hotel Fitness Championship coming to Sycamore Hills Golf Club August 26 through September 1, 2013. All attending will receive the 2013 Fort Wayne Monthly Golf Guide.
Thousands of dollars in door prizes will be given away throughout the show, including: Stay-and-play golf getaways, golf merchandise, rounds of golf and golf equipment. The top door prize is a one-year membership good for both Cherry Hill and Autumn Ridge Golf Clubs.
Northern Indiana Golf is presented by Fort Wayne Newspapers and Fort Wayne Monthly Magazine and is sponsored by Bobick's Golf Headquarters, Swan Lake Resort, The Northern Indiana Ohio Chevy Dealers Association, Back Nine Driving Range and Rock 104.
Northern Indiana Golf Show hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday March 10. Tickets are $6 and available at Memorial Coliseum the day of the show. Coupons for a $2 discount are available at all Northern Indiana and Ohio Chevy Dealers.
