A Renaissance in Roanoke Art Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 10am – 5pm on Historic Main Street in the Village of Ronaoke.

40 juried artists are already signed-up for the event which will feature the artists' works for sale, a Plein Air paint-out sponsored by Crestwoods Gallery and Framing, Children's Art Activities,"Create-a-canvas", Roanoke Elementary School Plein Air, A College Exhibit and Sale, a Fall Farmer's Market, "live" entertainment, and food concessions.

Attendees report: "Great event for all ages to enjoy."
"The significance of Renaissance in Roanoke to the artistic, cultural and business communities is that the festival attracts visitors from all over the area. Once in Roanoke all participants find that there is indeed a treasure in their midst and that after the festival, Roanoke is a place to return to again and again."
