On Friday and Saturday, September 19 and 20, 2003 Wal-Mart at 1710 AppleGlen Blvd. will be hosting a Speaking of Women's Health Community Event. This event will occur from 10am to 4pm.
Wal-Mart is a proud supporter of Speaking of Women's Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating women to make informed decisions about their health, well-being and personal safety. Speaking of Women's Health is a national foundation that encourages women to explore their physical and mental vitality, inner strength, self-esteem and beauty.
The public is invited to attend this free event. The community event activities include health screenings and free books from Speaking of Women's Health. "It is a forum that enables us to reach and empower women worldwide."
