Dear WAYNEDALE NEWS,
I want to ask for your help. Could I get some coverage for a huge project I am involved in as Vice President for the PTA at Pleasant Center Elementary School. They had not had an update to their playground for over 25 years and in 2001, the PTA set a goal to buy new equipment and have it installed. We completed Phase I (volunteers gave the playground a facelift by painting the existing equipment; we have pictures of that event. Through the great support of kids, parents, teachers, and the community we are completing Phase II on Saturday, April 27, 2002 by installing a new unit. We held an Ed Fox Fish Fry for the final fund raiser for this portion of Phase II of the project. We plan to add to the unit being installed for Phase III but this won't happen for another year. We plan to have this installation completed on Saturday and have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, April 29, 2002 for the kids when school is in session.
Thank you for your time,
VP/PTA Pleasant Center Elementary School

Would someone tell the governor and state legislators that they could balance the budget if they would simply spend just what they did two years ago? No special session . . . No tax increase.
