The Miami 'LADY' Indians finished some "Unfinished Business" by winning their "third" City Championship in (4) four years. The 'LADY' Indians adopted the theme "Unfinished Business" after a disappointing loss in last season's semi-finals.

This season, the 'LADY' Indians practiced and played with more determination to not only reach the city championship game, but also to win the FWCS City Championship. The 'LADY' Indians finished number one in the regular season with a record of 8-1 (conference) and a 13-2 record (over-all).

As a reward for their hard work, the 'LADY' Indians defeated Lakeside Middle School 46-32 at Elmhurst High School to win their third city basketball championship in the last four seasons.

The 'LADY' Indians were led in scoring by Demetria Eley (8th) 12 PPG, and Sha'la Jackson (7th) 14PPG. Ashley Terry, Jessica Diss, Chanté Russell, Raynesha Rogers and Rubbie Underwood also contributed to the great success of the 'LADY' Indians. The 'LADY' Indians are coached by Isaac Davis (head coach), Stan Kennedy and Arnold Lewis (assistant coaches).
