UPSCALE - NOT YOUR ORDINARY RESALE SHOP.

Details
Text Size:

(L to R) Karen McHugh, Diamond ‘Lil’ Williams, Teri Marquart, and Marilyn Schaab.

Upscale Resale located at 5825 Covington Road (next to Munchies) is not your ordinary resale shop. Marilyn Schaab, owner, sells quality antiques, glassware, pottery, furniture and collectibles.

As you stroll through the shop you will find many treasures. Art, jewelry, china, pictures, and designer clothing, these are a few of the many items Marilyn has on display. Karen McHugh is the stores' creative interior designer. And if it is jewelry or designer clothing that you are looking for or wishing to put up for consignment the specialist to ask for is Diamond 'Lil' Williams. (Diamond 'Lil' and Karen also do designing outside of the shop).

As you browse, memories of long ago will once again come alive. Page through the latest designer magazine and you will notice that those sofas and chairs from the 50's and 60's are back. Owner Marilyn has witnessed first hand the evolution of the old, into the new. Those items when first found may need a little help in restoration or restyling but with a professional touch from Kathy Stark that can be done. Kathy is Upscales' materials designer. "Kathy can put life into any old piece of furniture," states Marilyn. Teri Marquart, a well-known Fort Wayne artist assists the shop with custom furniture painting.

From shabby chic to cottage to antiques the Upscale Resale shop has it all and looks forward to serving the southwest Fort Wayne area. If you have a specific item you are looking for, they may have it or they can help you find it. They will also come to your home for free estimates on any items you may wish to sell or consign. Just give them a call at 459-0821, they are currently accepting spring consignments.
