BACKPACKER PEANUT BUTTER HONEY BARS

1 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup wheat germ

1/2 cup coconut

1/2 cup quick oats

powdered sugar

 

Put the peanut butter and honey in a small bowl. Place on the stove while the oven preheats to 250 degrees. Mix wheat germ, coconut and oats together. Add peanut butter and honey and mix well. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on your cutting board and press the mixture on it forming a rectangle about 6 inches by 10 inches. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top and crosscut into 24 bars. Bake bars for 30 minutes at 250 degrees on an un-greased cookie sheet. Cool and place bars in a plastic bag.
