1 lb. Hamburger (brown and drain)

1 pkg. Taco seasoning

1 pkg. Ranch dressing

2 cans Pinto beans with liquid

1 can Ro-Tel Tomatoes

1 can Hominy with liquid

2 1/2 cups water

After you brown and drain hamburger, add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for one hour. Serve with taco chips or crackers.

1/2 cup flour

3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 egg

1 cup peeled, sliced apples

1/2 cup chopped nut meats (optional)

Mix together: flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Beat the egg and add to the dry ingredients. Add sliced apples and chopped nuts. Mix thoroughly. Let mixture set while you grease a Boy Scout's mess kit plate or small pie tin. Add mixture to greased plate and bake in a Dutch oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. The pie will form its own crust. Cool and slice.
