EASY BOY SCOUT 'DUMP RECIPES'

(Just dump everything in a pot, heat, 'n eat! Servings depend on how hungry the boys are and if other food is being served with the meal.)

 

CHEESE TUNA PASTA 'DUMP'

 

1 cup shredded cheese (American)

2 cups water

4 oz. Uncooked angel hair or other pasta

1 (12 oz.) can water packed tuna (don't drain)

2 cups peas (frozen preferred but canned peas may be used)

Put water into 3 or 4 quart pot and bring to a boil. Break pasta into 2-inch lengths and 'dump' them into the pot. Stir and cook for 4 or 5 minutes. 'Dump' in the tuna and peas, stir, and cook for a few more minutes. 'Dump' in the cheese and stir until it melts.

 

BBQ CHICKEN RICE 'DUMP'

 

1 (12-oz.) can chunk chicken

1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce

1-1/2 cups water

1 (16-oz.) can kidney beans (don't drain)

2 cups instant rice

'Dump' all ingredients into a 3 or 4 quart pot, stir, bring to a boil, turn down heat, simmer for 5 minutes, cover, and let set for 5 minutes. Uncover, stir, and serve.

 

WAZIT 'DUMP' STEW

 

1 can corn (don't drain)

1 can diced potatoes (don't drain)

1 small onion (diced fine)

1 can SPAM or TREET (diced in 1/4 inch pieces)

'Dump' all ingredients into a 3 or 4 quart pot, heat through and serve. Other canned ingredients may be added for variety like: 1 can carrots, 1 can peas, 1 can (any kind) beans, 1 can diced tomatoes, etc.
