I'm Fort Wayne native Lois Eubank author of Around the frame. I grew up close to Waynedale graduating from Wayne HS. I've been writing my column for almost a year. After reading about the new WN owners, I thought they might be interested in a new column.

Quilts have always been important to me. I love the stories surrounding them, the techniques used in making them, and the happy faces when a beloved piece is restored and returned.

I have a quilt studio where I work without feline fur child interference. It's downtown Fort Wayne at 124 W. Wayne Street upstairs in Suite 209.

Giving back is important to me... That's why I go to jail for MDA and restore quilts to benefit the ACSPCA.
