JAMES R. SHELEY, 91, of the Roanoke area, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born June 8, 1922 in Middle Point, Ohio to the late Claude and Ethel Sheley.
He retired from International Harvester after 25 years. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the 99th division at Battle of the Bulge.

He loved the outdoors, where he enjoyed walking and cutting wood.

After retirement he moved and reconstructed a log cabin, completing it by constructing a stone chimney.

RUTH MILDRED HARTMAN, 90, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Kingston at Dupont Memory Care Center. She was born on July 5, 1923 to Leonard and Gertrude (Ludwick) Stolte.

She retired from Phelps Dodge and Verizon. She was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church. She enjoyed needlework and volunteering at the Community Harvest Food Bank for many years.

EMERY "JACK" MARGISON, 74, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013. He was born August 14, 1939 to the late Jack and Stella Margison.

He worked for Old Prairie Products and was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his companion, Winnie Roe of Fort Wayne; step son, David Likens; brother, Bill Margison; and sister, Margaret Margison.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne.

MARK ALLEN STAKER, 53, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in Naples, Florida. He was born in Fort Wayne. Grew up in the Waynedale area on Spruce Drive. Mark loved his drums and was a member of many bands from Fort Wayne and Naples. "Wipe Out" will now be heard in Heaven. Mark graduated from Elmhurst High School, Fort Wayne, in 1979.

BRENDA L. SHOCK TROUT, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was a daughter of Janet Johnson of Fort Wayne and Austin B. Shock of Huntington.

Those who knew Brenda will remember her for her caring heart, beautiful smile, and love for animals.

It is with great sadness, that Baer Field Speedway announces the passing of former Speedway promoter Tom Isch at the age of 74. After being in declining health for over a year, the end came on the morning of October 29, at home and surrounded by family.
