JACK L. SCHOEPH, 80, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Waynedale most of his life, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at his home. He was born March 10, 1932 in Fort Wayne to the late Jerry and Beatrice (Bodie) Schoeph.

Mr. Schoeph was owner and operator of Schoeph Trailer Repair Service and retired in 1997. After retirement he worked at Crossroads Pantry in Waynedale.

LYNNE J. LOTHAMER, 71, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away, Sunday, June 3, 2012. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Fort Wayne, to the late Frank and Arveda (Bollinger) Bender.

She worked as a housekeeper in the Elder Care Facility at Lutheran Homes.
Surviving family include her daughter, Michele (Clark) Eichman of Chicago, IL; and sister, Millicent "Lee" (Pal) Watson of Fort Wayne.

MELBA JUNE KIZER, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born May 20, 1923 in Jay County, Indiana to the late Ira Delbert and Doris Lavina (Rowland) Earehart. Mrs. Kizer retired in 1984 after 25 years at Lincoln National Life Insurance Company and after retirement she worked at Kohls for 12 years. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church.

LORI A. WALTER, 52, passed peacefully and unexpectedly at home, May 6, 2012. Born October 15, 1959, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Gary and Elaine (Fox) Hinton. She worked as a homemaker and loved spending time with her son. She had a compassion for bird watching, baking, and cooking.

Her helping hands will be dearly missed and her smiling face, despite her personal ailments, will be surely lost to all.

CHARLES N. POWELL, 91, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Indianapolis. He was born November 22, 1920 in Connerville, IN to the late Roscoe A. and Anna L. (Sherry) Powell. Mr. Powell retired in 1982 after 40 1/2 years at Navistar as a Metallurgist. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and was an Army Veteran.

DALE DANIEL HILBERT, 88, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Westland, Michigan. He was born April 30, 1923 in Defiance, Ohio.

Dale enlisted in the Air Force in 1942 and as a Technical Sergeant on the crew of the B-24 Liberator 'Back to the Sack' flew 30 heavy bombardment sorties over enemy occupied Europe, earning five Bronze Stars and the Air Medal with four Gold Leaf Clusters.
