Clarence Crane, 84, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at his residence. A native of Ridgway Township, Illinois he was a truck driver for Michigan Wholesalers in Fort Wayne for 12 years. Betty Jean Saalfrank, 78, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Ossian Health Care Center. A native of Fort Wayne, she was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer J. Saalfrank who passed away in 1994.

Richard W. Swank, 78, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 at S. Miami Hospital, S. Miami, Florida. A native of Yoder, Indiana, he was a planner at the design center of International Harvester. He retired after 30 years. He was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by a sister Mary Ann Miller, Yoder, Indiana.

Services were held Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Ruth E. Richardson Fuchshuber, 81, died Friday, May 2, 2003 at Renaissance Village. A native of Ossian, Indiana, she was a retired teacher and nurse and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Daughters Mary Ann Oberholtzer and Janet Hannah, both of Fort Wayne and 4 Grandchildren, survive her.

Services were held Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian, Indiana. Memorials to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Elsie Mae Scott, 76, died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. A native of Fort Wayne, she was a reflexologist, a former contract hauler for Fort Wayne Newspapers, and a former waitress for Tony's and the Waynewood Inn in Waynedale. She was a beloved wife & mother who truly enjoyed her family and friends and was a member of Monson Chapel UMC.

Donald R. Fogle, 77, died Monday, May 5, 2003 at Parkview Hospital. A native of Allen County he retired from Wayne Metals in Markle, Indiana. He was a decorated World War II Army Veteran and he loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
