Ruth Antin Chambers, 82, died Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Alan R. Chambers, MD and sons, Richard Chambers & Michael Chambers.

She is survived by sons Mark C. Chambers, Fort Wayne; Alan R. Chambers, Jr., Fort Wayne; daughter Melanie R. Davenport, Fort Wayne; brother Walter Antin Hammond, Louisiana; and 9 Grandchildren.

Ruth Ellen Bowman, 64, died Sunday, February 2, 2003 at her rural Yoder Residence. A native of Fort Wayne, She was a Payroll Coordinator for Lutheran Health Network for 20 years. Leonard V. Johnson, 87, died Monday, February 10, 2003 at Hospice Home of N.E. Indiana. A native of Fort Recovery, Ohio, he was a local contractor for 45 years before retiring in 1992. Brian Michael Clemens, 19, an Indiana National Guard soldier, whose unit was sent to Kuwait last month, died in a Humvee accident while he and four others were on patrol. Spc. Clemens of Kokomo died in the accident near Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Four other Indiana National Guard soldiers suffered minor injuries.
