Lou Ann Chapman, 62, died Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Covington Manor Nursing Center. A native of Fort Wayne, she worked in food services at South West Allen County Schools. She retired in 1996 after 21 years. She was also employed at the Indiana Auto Auction. She was a member of the Roanoke Eastern Star and Rebecca's Lodge and taught Junior Bowling for several years. Michael R. Lester, 61, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. Born in Fort Wayne, he owned his own business, Michael Lester Plumbing & Heating, for 30 years. For the last 7 years he was a school bus driver for East Allen County Schools. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lester.

Josephine E. Marciniak, 78, died Saturday, May 24, 2003 at her Fort Wayne residence. A native of Mishawaka, Indiana she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Marciniak who passed away in 1980.

Glen E. Kumfer, 85, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at Bluffton Medical Center in Bluffton, Indiana. A native of Wells County, he worked for General Electric for 40 years. He retired in 1978. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a beloved Father and Grandfather. He will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his wife Mae G. Richard F. "Dick" Coates, 75, died Thursday, May 29, 2003 at his Fort Wayne residence. A native of Fort Wayne, he was the owner of ELCO TAP. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Elks #155 and the Indiana License Beverage Association. He was a friend to all mankind. Geraldine T. Kranz, 87, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 at her home in Fort Wayne. A native of Fort Wayne, she was an Inspector with General Electric for 40 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
