Mary W. Salyer, 79, died Thursday, December 21, 2002. A native of Kentucky, she was a cashier at the Airport Restaurant for 20 years; she retired in the late 70's. Arthur L. Dodane, 92, died Friday, December 20, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. He retired in 1974 from the U.S. Postal Service after 22 years as a motor vehicle driver. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, VFW Post #857, and the National Federation of Postal Retirees. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran and he liked gardening and fishing.

Earl F. Engelbrecht, 83, died Thursday, December 19, 2002 at Englewood Health Care Center. He retired as former owner of Advertising Art. He was a US Army WWII Veteran and retired as a US Army Lt. Orel A. Sprunger, 85, died December 31, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Berne, Indiana, he was in flight operations with Essex Wire 14 years and an office manager with Trans American Freight Lines for 16 years. He retired in 1980.
