Leona Werling, 88, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center. A naïve of Wells County, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Bethlehem Ladies Aid. Walter H. Scherschel, 86, died Monday, October 21, 2002 at Hospice Home of NE Indiana. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a machinist at General Electric for 40 years and retired in 1978.
