Esther Joan Daugherty, 76, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Bluffton, Indiana she was employed at Century Beauty Salon for 50 years as a beautician. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She retired in 2000. She was preceded in death by sister Irma Wright, brothers Norman Ripple and Leland Ripple.

Linwood R. Fitch, 74, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of native of Fort Wayne, he was owner of L.R. Fitch & Company Exterior Contractors and a US Navy, Korean War Veteran.

Pauline M. Harman, 91, died Thursday, April 3, 2003 at Covington Manor Nursing Center. A native of Illinois, she was a homemaker and a member of Sandpoint Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Floyd A. Carsten, 83, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at his Fort Wayne residence. A native of Fort Wayne, he was owner operator of Carsten Oil Company for 45 years. He retired in 1998. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Ralph W. Hatfield, 78, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Cameron Hospital, Angola, Indiana. A native of Ossian, Indiana, he was a retired US Air Force Pilot and worked in intelligence for the Civil Service.
