Thomas G. Harber, 80, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at his Yoder residence. A native of Fort Wayne he retired in 1984 after 43 years from General Electric as an Expeditor. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, St. Aloysius Holy Name Society, and Retiree's #901 at General Electric. Lucy Wells, 81, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at her residence. She was a homemaker. She liked gardening and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Robert Wells who passed away October, 25, 1970, a son Randy Wells; and a brother Andrew Honeycutt.

Virginia E. Rutkowski, 83, died Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Nitro, West Virginia, she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford V. Zieg, Jr. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed participating in The Southmoor Singers for many years. She was the daughter of Clifford V. Zieg and Dorothy A. John Mayo Hovis, 31 died Sunday, June 30, 2002 at his Fort Wayne residence. A native of Muncie, Indiana, he was a cargo handler for Kitty Hawk AirFreight.

He is survived by his wife Sherri Ann Hovis, Fort Wayne; father Edwin Hovis, Zanesville, Indiana; Stepmother Vicki Hovis, Zanesville, Indiana; Sister Elizabeth Conley, Parker City, Indiana; and four stepbrothers.

Services were held Wednesday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.

David Louis Runkle, 25, died Saturday, June 15, 2002 in Fort Wayne. A native of Pueblo, Colorado, he was a union carpenter. He was a football fan and liked fishing.

Ruth Esther Valentine, 98, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at her residence on Sandpoint Road. A native of Liberty Center, Indiana, she was a homemaker and a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church.
