Enid Novalee Sowers, 75, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at Lutheran Hospital. She was an assembler for the 7UP company for 10 years and a sorter for Coverall Rental for 7 years. She liked fishing and gardening.

She is survived by her husband Ralph E. Sowers, Fort Wayne; sons Steven Sowers, Fort Wayne; Tim Sowers, Fort Wayne, Stacey Sowers, Fort Wayne; daughter Susie Trigg, Fort Wayne; 8 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Gerald Eugene Farrell, 79, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 in Athens, Tennessee. He was a truck Driver for Renners Express for 18 years. He retired in 1981. He also drove for OIM Transport. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, SOL D. Bayless #359, American Legion Post #296, and VFW Post #10006. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Geneva V. Farrell, Fort Wayne.

Ruth V. (Beckman) Brown, 91, died Saturday, March 31, 2002 at University Park Nursing Center. She was retired from Stillman's Department Store where she worked as a sales clerk for 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph F. Brown who passed away in November 1976, parents William A. Kammeyer and Amelia Henschen, one sister, and one brother. A native of Canton, Illinois, she was a school secretary in Davenport, Iowa and Executive Secretary for Huber, Hunt & Nichols Construction in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ruby Kathryn Zimmerman Richey, 86, died Sunday, April 7, 2002 at Spring Arbor, Michigan. A native of Sashatchewan, Canada, she was an employee of Sears Roebuck Company in Fort Wayne for 20 years.
