Carrie E. Kimmel (Zion), 92, died Sunday, February 10 at Community Hospital – North Indianapolis, Indiana. A native of Markle, Indiana and a former resident of Anderson and Fort Wayne, she was a member of East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson. She attended Fortville Christian Church while residing in Fortville, Indiana. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Kimmel. She was the daughter of Jason C. Suzanne V. Fortney, 57, died Monday, February 11 at her Fort Wayne residence. A native of Fort Wayne, she was in data entry and clerical work at Lincoln Life Insurance for 30+ years and had worked in the family business earlier in life at Kree's Rink in Fort Wayne. She was a member of Sewing Guild. She liked sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted grandmother and will be missed by her six grandchildren which includes two sets of twins.

Joseph Riley King, 56, died Monday at home in Fort Wayne. A native of Fort Wayne, he was retired January 31, 2002 from the Allen County Sheriff Department after 31 years. He was a member of F.A.S.T.; charter member of Aboite Fire Department, a retired Master Sgt. of the U.S. Air Force then served 20 years with the Air National Guard.
