Kenneth E. Meek, 71, died Wednesday, January 2 at his Fort Wayne Residence. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a farmer all of his life and retired from Navistar as an inspector in 1983. He was a member of Ossian F & AM #297, Scottish Rite, American Legion #241, 40 & 8, #37, and AMVets #33. He was a Korean Air Force Veteran. Kenny's love for life expanded into many different interests, loving his family and friends.

Gene Chaney, 80, died Sunday, December 23 at his residence in Fort Wayne. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter who passed away in 1962, a granddaughter, a brother, and a sister. She retired in 1984 as a group leader at Magnavox. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion Aux. Post 246, a 50 year member of the Daughters of Isabella, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Catholic Charities, and Helping Hands at St. John The Baptist Church.

Eleanor L. "Polly" Hutchings, 80, of Waynedale, died Tuesday, December 11 at Lutheran Hospital. She was co-owner of Waynedale Sportsman Shop and Hutch's Shoe Repair for more than 40 years. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, she was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching soap operas and spending time with her family. A sister, Katherine Cole, preceded her in death.

Kenneth Leon "Kenny" Courtney, 80, died Saturday, December 8 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Randolph County, he was a self-employed plastering contractor and owner of Tri-state packaging. He retired in 1978. He was a life member of McMillan Park Lions Club & a member of the Southwest Conservation Club. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ilene Courtney who passed away in 1989.

Robert George Ruch, 81, died Sunday, December 9 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a welder at American Hoist Company. He retired in 1984 after 34 years. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #241, Southwest Conservation Club and the F.O.E. in Butler, Indiana. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lucilie Ruch who passed away October 20, 2000.

Woodrow Wilson "Pee Wee" Jimison, 87, died at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, Columbia City, Indiana. A native of Decatur, Illinois he worked at Erie Haven for 4 years and then worked as a mechanic at Black Motor Sales in Albion, Indiana for 2 years. He retired in 1976. He is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. His wife Marie Jimison passed away in 1978.
