DARLENE L. ADAMS, 68, of Fort Wayne, went to be with God on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Roy and Frieda Richerson. She attended Elmhurst High School and “Streets of Waynedale”. She was a member of American Legion Post #241 and AMVETS Post #33. She loved nature and animals.

Surviving family include her siblings, Jerry (Julie), Juno (Carole), Donna Richerson and Betty Levy; several nieces and nephews; and her three dogs, Hoppie, Cheeka, and Jazzy.

AMES ARTHUR “ROOSTER” CASSELL, 61

JAMES ARTHUR “ROOSTER” CASSELL, 61, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital. James graduated from New Haven High School and was employed with BF Goodrich for many years from which he retired. James “Rooster” was a DJ and enjoyed oldies and 50s music. He was a member of the Carriage House and a founding member of Classic Fort Wayne Media. He was also delivered The Waynedale News for many years.

GENE D. PERL, 82, of Yoder, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 12, 1934 in Fort Wayne to the late Ollie and Winefred Perl. He worked in hydraulic equipment fabrication, retiring in 1999 from Neff Engineering.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved riding motorcycles and driving classic sports cars.

VIRGINIA MAE BARKER, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away May 31, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late Thomas Leonard and Crystal Alberta (Ammerman) Prosser. She retired from GTE in 1985, after 15 year as an Advertising Assistant. She also served as choir director at Faith Church of Christ. She was a master gardener and a charter member of Fort Wayne Herb Gardeners.

JOAN ELIZABETH CRAMER, 84, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Don) Reuille; son, Michael Cramer; grandchildren, Ryan (Toni) Reuille, Renee (Jason) Schoeff, Kristi Cramer, and Casey Cramer; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Cramer.

Private family service at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Heart-To-Heart Hospice.

CHERYL ANN COLEMAN, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born on June 12, 1955. She was a lifetime member and past auxiliary president at VFW #1421 and also belonged to AmVets Post #33.

Surviving family include her daughters, Tina (Mark) France, Tricia (Dean) Wimmer Stevens, April (Jeremy) Lee; brothers, Harold “Sparky” and Larry (Carol) Hurst; sister, Foxy (Greg) Rice; 11 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
