It is with great sadness, that Baer Field Speedway announces the passing of former Speedway promoter Tom Isch at the age of 74. After being in declining health for over a year, the end came on the morning of October 29, at home and surrounded by family.

Following a successful career in the automotive industry and as racecar owner, Isch sold his dealerships and cars and purchased the Capitol Speedway of Plymouth (IN) in 1989. A few years later, Isch took over as promoter of the Avilla (IN)...

WILLIAM J. SHANNON, SR., 66, from Convoy, OH, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1947 to the late William and Marjorie Shannon. He graduated from Central High School and served in the U. S. Air Force. He worked as a painter and then retired as shop foreman from Crumback Chevrolet. He was always known for his custom painting of cars and motorcycles, of which motorcycles were his passion.

SOLINA M. DAVISON

SOLINA M. DAVISON, 99, formerly of Yoder, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. She was born September 10, 1914 in Yoder, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Metker) Bubb.

She had formerly worked as a secretary at St. Aloysius School and also worked as postmaster for 11 years at the Yoder Post Office. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality at her church.

DANNY L. ADAMS, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Mercer County, Ohio. He retired as an ironworker from the Iron Worker's Local #147. He enjoyed NASCAR and Sprint Car Racing, was an avid chess player and loved animals.
