PHYLLIS L. FOSTER, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away March 13, 2013 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. She was born on April 8, 1924 in Bluffton, IN to the late Jessie "Roy" and Verga (Smeltzer) Elzey. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing piano and the organ while singing hymns. She also loved visiting with people.

MARJORIE E. SHANNON, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at St. Anne Home. She was born January 15, 1931 in Hillsdale, MI to the late Charles and Minnie (Adamson) James.

She married William A. Shannon on July 20, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2011.

MARTHA FREYGANG, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hospice Home. She was born December 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Wayne and Laura (Howard) Herrick.

She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at various places. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Lay Franciscan Order.

HELEN R. BECHTEL, 73, a life-long resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born November 1, 1939, daughter of the late Homer and Marzetta (Kalt) Cramer.

She worked at Magnavox for 13 years, was a writer and authored the book "My Walk With Jesus". She also volunteered as a Foster Grandparent, worked as an aid for the school system, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola, IN.

FRANCIS E. "WAHOO" DIETRICH, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Anne's Home. He was born in Branch County, Michigan to the late Frank H. and Mary (Herman) Dietrich on November 20, 1927.
He was a welder for Gerrig Trucking. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and served on the Battleship Missouri. Mr. Dietrich was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, VFW Post 1421, Tristate Gas Engine Association and Maumee Valley Gas and Steam Association.

PAUL EDWARD STUCK

PAUL EDWARD STUCK went to his heavenly home on March 6th. He was born Feb. 26, 1925 in Bluffton, IN. Paul was a loving and devoted husband of 68 years to his wife, Virginia (Kreigh), whom he met at Central High School. Their courtship started in English class when Ginny passed him a note with her address on it. They began their long distance relationship while Paul was in the Navy and she hooked him for good when he returned home.
