DUANGDY "LA" VONGPHAKDY, 27, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Parkview Hospital. Born February 8, 1978, in Vientiane, Laos, he was the son on Bounmy and Nae Vongphakdy. He was Supervisor at Vee Engineering.

CHARLES E. SUTTON, 67, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born February 27, 1938, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, he was a retired roofer, working for over 30 years at Pettigrew and Sons. He loved to walk and be outdoors.

NORMAN R. EHRESMANN, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born November 27, 1927, in Wagner. South Dakota, he was the son of the late Gustav and Pauline (Rehureck) Ehresmann. He was a Foreman for Blount AGR Industrial, retiring in 1988. He served in the Navy.

JOHN E. STIER, (That other singer) 69, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at his residence. Born November 3, 1935, in Fort Wayne, he retired in 2000, as Human Resource Manager from Lincoln Food Service Products, after 35 years. He also performed for several decades in the music profession, first as an entertainer with the Jimmy Stier Orchestra and later his own band, John Stier & Company.
