Born in Fort Wayne, he was an Auto Body Technician with Allen County Motors & Dimension Ford for 44 years and retired in 2003. ROBERT L. BACON, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his residence. Born February 27, 1918, in Findley, Ohio, he was the son of the late Louis A. and Grace G. (Welch) Bacon. ROBERT L. FAUDREE, 82, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. He was an inspector at Dana Corporation for 32 years and retired in 1976. He was an Army WWII veteran and was discharged in 1945.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda (David) Hontz; grandchildren, Robert (Heather) Hontz, James Hontz, Ted (Kathleen) Hontz, & Hollissa Hontz; great grandchildren Cameron & Jackie Hontz; and sister Betty Kunkel of Fort Wayne.

JAMES F. VACHON, 68, died Friday, April 8, 2005. The Fort Wayne native was a U.S. Army veteran, retired as a sergeant with the Fort Wayne Police Department and was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge #14.

Survivors include his sister, Judith A. (Robert) Smith of Coldwater, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Vachon, in 2002.

HELEN J. SCHUHLER, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at Ossian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 29, 1920, in Allen County, she was employed at Wayne Knitting Mill, prior to working at Dana Corporation, in shipping, retiring after 20 years.
