STANLEY W. UETRECHT, 91, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, August 26, 2005, at his residence. Born November 29, 1913, in Fort Wayne, he was a Data Engineer at Magnavox, retiring in 1978. He was a Army World War II Veteran and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are 14 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Uetrecht, in 2004; and nine brothers and sisters.

IRENE L. SHAW, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital. She was a homemaker and Manager at Rose Marie Hotel.

Surviving are her son, Gilbert Shaw of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Shaw; and two sons.

Visitation was Monday, August 29, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

GLADYS I. (LANDFAIR) LEININGER, 96, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at her residence. Born March 12, 1909, in Clark County, Indiana, she was head of the Suit Department at J.C. Penney, retiring in 1970.

JAMES A. IMBODY, 71, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, August 11, 2005, at his residence. Born April 23, 1934, in Egge, Indiana, he was a painter at Parkview Hospital, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Roanoke American Legion, Marine Corp. League and a lifetime member of Fort Wayne Bowling Association. He was a Marine, serving during the Korean Conflict Era. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

JOHN "PAGE" CHURCHWARD, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, August 15, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital. Born February 13, 1917, in Poe, he was owner-operator of Waynedale Welding, with his father, Charles and also worked for General Electric for 15 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Waynedale Lions Club. He was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and enjoyed golf and fishing.

VELMA M. GICK, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, August 18, 2005, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born November 7, 1916, in Converse, Indiana, she was a homemaker and retired from Lincoln Life, in 1982. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
