RICHARD RICHARD "DICK" P. HORMANN, 84, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011, at Kingston Care Center, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked as a Broker with A.J. Hoffman Agency and The DeHayes Group for 60 years, retiring in 2007. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran; a Board member and past President of Concordia Education Foundation and Concordia High School; a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church; and also served on the Boards of Emmaus Foundation, Lutheran Homes, Lutheran Hospital, Home Loan & Savings, and Concordia Cemetery.

Surviving are his nephews, Kent (Leslie) Hormann and Robert T (LuAnn) Jacobus, both of Fort Wayne; a niece, Katherine (Steve) Jacobus Garton of Saint Charles, Illinois; five great nieces and great nephews; and numerous godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Herman D. and Esther Anna Hormann; and wife, Marian L. (Miller) Hormann.

Service was 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with the Rev. Scott Bruick officiating. Calling was 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at the funeral home.
