Talk about sticker shock . . . or whatever you want to call it, I got a bad case of it the other day and I'm still trying to get over it. I bought my deer hunting license or I should say two of them even though they were on the same piece of paper. I bought a buck license and a doe license or as they say now, "An antlered deer license and an antlerless deer license." Since there have been cases of does with antlers turning up in Indiana, you can't tell a doe with antlers from a buck. Last...

Baseball Is Over In Fort Wayne

The summer went so fast and now we must accept the fact that baseball is over in Fort Wayne. Some of you may be thinking what comes to my mind; "I missed so much local baseball this year." Oooooohhhh I'm so happy to be home I could just spit and eat a biscuit. Wayne and I finished off our summer tans and now we're ready for the cooler weather. ONCE AGAIN WE MOURN

And we learn...

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is a funny movie with a skinny little message: we're all fruit. Written by and starring Nia Vardalos (Men Seeking Women, Meet Prince Charming) and produced by Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, this movie would be good for teenagers to see with the family because it will make them realize that they really aren't the strangest bananas in the bunch.

In the film, Vardalos plays Toula Portokalos, a "frumpy", single, thirty year old Greek woman whose whole life is working in the...
