Oooooooohhh I just have to tell you where we went to dine recently. Our daughter and her family was in town along with all our other children and their families for our big once-a-year Thanksgiving dinner. Since Elizabeth and I haven't seen each other in over a year and since neither one of us likes to cook very much, we decided to let the husbands and children take us out for breakfast without the rest of the family. We needed our special time together. As it turned out we could have had...

A CHRISTMAS DAY THAT SHOULD NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

If you check history books that list events by dates; you will notice that not much happens during the month of December. I guess most people are getting ready for the holidays and not much happens on Christmas day.

One event on Christmas Day December 1776 should never be forgotten by Americans.

Thanks for the Other Day

Greetings from Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. I'm Don Kleinschmidt, the interim Senior Pastor, and I am happy to be allowed to share this space with you.

Hi,

Just logged onto your website and found it pretty interesting. It was nice to see my uncle's picture on it. American Legion Post 241, Chester Gwozdz. My uncle comes to Toledo/Rossford, Ohio a lot, as Rossford is his hometown. He visits his brother and many other relatives and friends. He brings many things into donate to charity here. He helps out the veterans and children here too. He really is into helping out the poor and the needy, with the help of the American Legion. It's a...

Oooooooohhh I just have to tell you something, I've had the grandest time this month and last. I've gotten to see all my grandchildren but one new one that hasn't been born very long and it is out of state and a long ways off. We all got together and had turkey and ham for an early Thanksgiving and one night we all went out to eat together. I'm in so much of a much better mood than I have been in a long time. Wayne has discovered Viagra. I do wish he would get some sleep and take better...

Jeremy Pion Bowler

When you watch Jeremy Pion bowl you say, "He sure throws a lot of strikes." To average a score of 230, you need to throw 7-8 strikes a game. His last year's 230 was the highest in the Fort Wayne Bowling Association. To get this recognition an interpretation was made. Mark S. Burbrink averaged 233 but for only 42 games. Jeremy bowled 66 games.

Jeremy was born in Fort Wayne on March 29, 1977. He graduated from North Side High School and played golf. He did advance through the...
