It seems to me that crime has increased in our lovely normally serene little town of Waynedale, Indiana. Robbery is up, vandalism is up, and people around me are asking me what to do about it. I tell anyone who asks, to join the NRA, purchase a firearm, learn how to use it safely, and then practice with it at a shooting range at least once a month.

The next question is usually, "What kind of firearm?" I tell them, "You don't have to be an expert marksman with a shotgun but get what you feel...

Editor,

A couple of weeks ago I indicated to someone that if I could, I'd enlist today and help my country track down those responsible for killing thousands of innocent people in New York City and Washington, D.C. But I'm over 50 now and the Armed Forces say I'm too old to track down terrorists. You can't be older than 35 to join the Army. They've got the whole thing backwards. The first time it happened (or that I was able to understand) I was puzzled to hear a person I had met only once say, "Thanks so much for the other day." I didn't even...

Hi,

Just logged onto your website and found it pretty interesting. It was nice to see my uncle's picture on it. American Legion Post 241, Chester Gwozdz. My uncle comes to Toledo/Rossford, Ohio a lot, as Rossford is his hometown. He visits his brother and many other relatives and friends. He brings many things into donate to charity here. He helps out the veterans and children here too. He really is into helping out the poor and the needy, with the help of the American Legion. It's a...
