As I write this review, I think back to watching the Oscars last Sunday where Chicago won the award for Best Picture, and with great cause. If you have not yet seen this film, put down your paper (after reading the rest of my column of course) and go see it now. It is the cats meow and all that jazz. Chicago tells a very stretched true story following the trials of two murderesses that want to be stars. Who knew that Catherine Zeta-Jones could wail like that? She definitely earned her Oscar for...

Oooooohhh I just have to tell you where my cute little old Tubby Hubby and I ate recently, even though I don't recommend eating there until they start serving better portions. We went to Shipshewana to do a little shopping and we just had the loveliest time. Of course the big flea market isn't open yet but you can have a ball shopping in the many stores they have around there.

There's this cute little restaurant called THE WANNA CUP or something close to that. I think they're playing on the...

I just hate to shop on an empty stomach.

Of all the places in Fort Wayne to eat, and there are a few hundred, we went to Powers Hamburger Restaurant down town on South Harrison...

Both wanted dates for a big dance, so I thought it would be a great idea to just set them up together and kill two birds with one stone. Well, they turned out to mix like peanut butter and ketchup and I turned out to be the one to blame.

Bringing Down the House, starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifa...

The Romans sent a message; God sent one, too

The rulers of the Roman Empire wanted everyone under their power to understand clearly that it would be very costly to try to overthrow their government. They conceived the idea of crucifixion as a way of sending an unforgettable message to all people under their control. Death on a cross would be a slow, excruciatingly painful death. The cross would be put in a very public place so as many as possible would get the message: Don't even think of...
