Oooooohhh I just have to tell you that Wayne, my sweet little tubby hubby, and I have been at home for the last two weeks. Mostly we've been nursing the sniffles and trying to keep warm. Wayne got a set of camouflaged sweats (pants and shirt) for Christmas and he had them on and was leaping from room to room, with the grace of a pudgy ballerina. He had his arms outspread and shouting, "Can you see me now? Can you see me now?" like he was supposed to invisible or something, the little twerp...

"The Waynedale News" went with me last year into Kandahar Afghanistan, the former Taliban headquarters. Reading the paper kept me in touch with the real world and things back home. Thank You, Rick L. Sabo

"Changing Direction"

Growing up on the farm as kids, the only thing we knew was making a living by farming. It was not a hard life, but it was a lot of work. Dad was the boss and I think he thought the boys would follow him in that business.

We enjoy the variety of articles. Marion Amick

Cancel Mrs. Waynedale or have her clean up her act. My grandchildren read The Waynedale News. Her articles do not make me want to eat at the places she writes about. Afraid I might run into her and her tubby hubby. He will be the one wearing the bib. Otherwise it is a...

Oooooohhh I just have to tell you I've eaten too much over the holidays and I am at the point that I can't stand to look at rich food. I think I gained about twenty-five pounds the way my girdle fits. It's straining at the staves and I'm afraid someone is going to get hurt if it ever decides to let go and explode. My cute little tubby hubby stays the same weight; he doesn't gain an ounce or lose an ounce but then he's around 1200 ounces overweight to start with.

We decided to go on a diet...

AT THE MOVIES WITH KASEY BUTCHER

I was once told that it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round, and I didn't really understand what that meant until I reached high school. I have often wondered how my life would be different if I pursued different interests. What if I was an athlete instead of on the newspaper staff? What if I was in cheerleading instead of show choir? In Catch Me If You Can, a boy not much older than myself asks how his life would be different if he was a pilot, a doctor, or a lawyer, and he...
