The old Putt Putt golf course behind Taco-Taco on Bluffton & Sandpoint Roads is about to be razed and an established Waynedale business will be moving in.   Rich’s Auto Service, which has been a model Waynedale business for many years, is changing its location to where Putt Putt used to be. INDIANA HUNTING AND TRAPPING GUIDE NOW AVAILABLE

Indiana's 2002-03 Hunting and Trapping Guide is now available at many sporting goods shops, retail stores and DNR properties throughout the state. The free guide includes information on hunting and trapping season dates and regulations, as well as applications for reserved hunts on public properties.

COLD WEATHER DAMAGES JAPANESE MAPLES/GRAPES

All over town, the Japanese maple leaves were turning brown and falling off the trees. The new foliage of grape varieties has withered on the vine. The extremely cold conditions in May damaged the leaves of Japanese Maples and grape varieties this year according to Ricky Kemery, Allen County Horticulture Educator.

Mosquitos can be more than a nuisance ... and to lessen the risk of mosquito-borne disease transmission (viral encephalitis), the following prevention tips are recommended:
