This is the year for the 17-year Periodical Cicada. They will show up in great numbers in some areas. An expert on the Periodical Cicada will be coming to Fox Island County Park, 7324 Yohne Road, Fort Wayne, on Sunday, April 25, at 4pm to discuss the subject. Find out what to expect and how to deal with this infrequent visitor.

Lisa Renee English is an Arkansas native with a PhD from the University of Arkansas. She teaches and serves as the director of Environmental Studies at Goshen College. Lisa Renee also holds the Lindsey Fellow position at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center where she works to promote undergraduate research in biology.
