Wayne Township Proud of Local Heroes of Gulf Disaster Relief Effort

By now we have all heard about the victims of the disastrous hurricanes that have ravaged our gulf coast. Many evacuees were sent all over the country. Some of them now reside in our community. I would like to take this time to acknowledge my second in command: Chief Deputy Trustee of Wayne Township Alan Stoller.

This will be the third and last installment discussing the Long's family vacation, which was in Southern California this past summer. The first article covered Los Angeles, the second discussed L.A., San Diego, and Tijuana, Mexico. This article will cover Santa Barbara, Hearst Castle, and Big Sur.

Anyone that has ever been in need of a...

At a recent neighborhood meeting I heard more discussion regarding the Tiffany Heights project being planned along Ardmore Avenue north of Sandpoint Road. That project was "okayed" earlier this year by the City Plan Commission and never reached City Council for a vote. There was quite a bit of local opposition to the project including by over 300 individuals who signed a petition raising appropriate questions about traffic safety, storm water drainage, etc. I wrote the State of Indiana...
