What are your Waynedale (Fort Wayne), Indiana politicians working on for you? Local, regional and state wide politics can be found here written by your elected officials.

One of Fort Wayne's most notable assets is our outstanding Parks and Recreation Department. We have 87 parks throughout Fort Wayne, and soon that number will increase. One of the larger and more widely used parks in the southwest quadrant of the city is Foster Park.

Fort Wayne is also enjoying an increase in the diversity of our community. We all reap the benefits of having a multi-cultural city, but many of our residents whose native tongue is not English face difficult challenges with...

As you are probably aware, there has been an ongoing effort to strengthen Fort Wayne's downtown. Our central city is often described as the anchor for the community and I agree with that viewpoint. If you compare our city's downtown area now, to the situation in the 1970's, there has already been quite a bit of progress. Leatherman has had some very big shoes to fill, but I am confident that he will provide Neighborhood Code Enforcement with the leadership they need to serve the residents of Fort Wayne.

One of the first things Leatherman did as he began his new position was to make changes in the WEED program. NCE implemented...

I have some information to pass along regarding streets and traffic in the Waynedale Area. After receiving a few calls regarding problems with traffic congestion at the Bluffton Road/Winchester Road intersection, I asked the traffic engineers to look into the situation. The engineers then realigned northbound traffic through that intersection and the situation seems to be improved. Let me know what you think. Southbound traffic flow remains a problem and is being re-evaluated by the traffic...
